Our Story
Founded by nurses Myko and Khon, The Skin Medisuite was inspired by their experience in a leading Sydney dermatology practice. With a passion for education
and quality care, they advocate for pro-ageing, simplified skincare, and informed decision-making.
Their commitment to continuous learning and collaboration with top specialists ensures clients receive expert, personalized aesthetic care.
Myko Okada
Director and Co-Founder
Myko has been a registered nurse for 16 years, including 12 years in dermatology and cosmetic. She worked in various hospitals particularly in emergency department, operating theatre, pediatrics, and medical/surgical wards. Myko finished her Bachelor in Nursing degree in Philippines, then she moved to Sydney. She successfully passed the bridging program for internationally qualified nurses at Australian College of Nursing.
She is currently working as a dermatology registered nurse and laser consultant for almost 12 years with a group of surgeons, dermatologists specialising in skin cancers, and clinical lecturers. Myko is also certified in energy-based laser devices. Her expertise include operation of various lasers for acne, spider veins, rosacea, congenital birthmarks, surgical or post radiation scars, benign pigmented lesions, wrinkle rejuvenation, tattoo removal, RF microneedling, lifting and skin tightening devices.
In her spare time, she enjoys caring for her NDIS funded clients and dancing with her 3 children.

KHON TANG

Khonie is a seasoned clinician who believes that the heart of medicine lies in the strength of the relationships built within the clinic walls. With an extensive background in General Practice and Dermatology, she brings a comprehensive perspective to patient care—blending a deep understanding of internal wellness with specialized expertise in skin health. For Khonie a successful consultation is one where the patient feels truly heard, understood, and empowered through clear, accessible education.
From managing chronic skin conditions to navigating general family health, Khonie is committed to creating a practice that feels like a supportive community. Driven by empathy and a passion for human connection, she continues to grow a legacy of care where every patient is treated with the same attention and dedication.
